Taylor Swift | Taylor Swift messes up Secret Songs segment in Munich

Taylor Swift made a mistake during her “Secret Songs” segment at her “Eras” show on Saturday (27.07.24) in Munich.

During her first performance at the German Olympic Stadium, the 34-year-old singer successfully combined the track “Fresh Out the Slammer” by “The Tortured Poets Department” with “You Are in Love” from 1989 on the guitar. However, when she then sat down at her piano for the second medley, she messed up the first few notes, which immediately drew attention to this faux pas.

In footage shared on X, she laughed: “Sometimes you just don't hit the right note, right?”

She then continued with the second medley, combining “Ivy” from “Evermore” with the “Reputation” track “Call It What You Want”.

This is not the first time Taylor has had problems during this stretch.

During a performance in Milan, Italy, earlier this month, a malfunction occurred at the piano.

When a crew member came on stage to repair the instrument, she joked, “We finally broke the thing.”

During her show in Hamburg earlier this week, the “Cruel Summer” singer reflected on having to take care of her own hair, makeup and styling for the cover shoot for her “Folklore” album due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

She told her fans: “I started producing 'Folklore' about two days after the pandemic started.

“It was just a huge challenge for us as creators, but it was so fulfilling.

“Then it was time to take some pictures for the album. You can't have hair or makeup, you can't have a wardrobe, you just have to do it yourself.

“So I called my friend who has a forest behind her house and asked, 'Can I take some photos in your forest?' And she said, 'Yes.'”

“I ordered and bought all these nightgowns online and then did my own hair and makeup… and I was just like, 'I guess I'm going to braid it? I don't know.'”
