Gogglebox stars meet for the first time at Christmas party

The cast of Channel 4's Gogglebox met for the first time at a Christmas party to celebrate the show's tenth anniversary.

To mark the anniversary, the stars of the show put on their most festive outfits to party the night away.

To document the occasion, actress Izzi Warner posted a series of pictures of the event on Instagram, featuring many familiar faces.

Izzi shared a series of selfies with various members of the cast and captioned the post: “If we've waited 10 years for a cast party, we better make sure it's a good one! Team Gogglebox did not disappoint.”

Izzi's photo booth snaps from the evening included married couple Dave and Shirley Griffiths, Stephen Lustig Webb and his husband Daniel Lustig Webb, Lee Riley and Izzi's sister Ellie.

Izzi saved the best photo for last: she included a selfie with her sister and the show's rarely seen narrator, Craig Cash.

Meanwhile, Sophie Sandiford posted a picture on her own social media – a group photo from the evening, which she captioned “Working, making Christmas”.

The group photo included the couple Mary Killen and Giles Wood, Jenny Newby, Tom Malone and his wife Julie, and Pete Sandiford, Sophie's brother.

Recently, former Gogglebox star Daniel Lustig Webb spoke out about his husband Stephen's injury on Dancing on Ice, saying Stephen was “devastated” to have to leave the show after breaking his ankle in two places.

“Stephen is fine. He's had his cast removed now and will have to wear a boot for the next six weeks, then he'll be good to go,” said Daniel.

“He's devastated about Dancing on Ice, he was so excited… I think it's going to take him a whole year to get back to normal, with all the physiotherapy and stuff.”

Gogglebox airs and streams on Friday nights at 9pm on Channel 4.
