Hayden Panettiere's boyfriend arrested for domestic violence [Video]

Hayden Panettiere and her boyfriend Brian Hickerson were once again involved in a domestic dispute. The Teton County Sheriff's Office in Wyoming confirmed to Yahoo Entertainment that officers were called to a private residence around 2:30 a.m. on February 14 – Valentine's Day.

“The man was identified as Brian Hickerson and arrested. He was charged with domestic violence and obstructing police,” a spokesman said on Tuesday.

According to court documents, the Jackson Hole NewsPanettiere called the police after Hickerson allegedly punched her in the face. Nashville The 30-year-old star locked her boyfriend out of the house and officers found Hickerson in the driveway. Hickerson, a 30-year-old real estate agent and actor, told police his girlfriend said he “beat the hell out of her.”

The police report noted that the victim had visible injuries to his face. When officers asked Hickerson if he had hit his girlfriend, “his demeanor immediately changed and he evaded the question,” the report said.

Hickerson claimed nothing happened and that he asked the private chef to stay so he wouldn't be “charged with anything.” The chef told police the couple had argued earlier in the night, but he left shortly after 1 a.m. because he was tired. Hickerson was charged with obstruction for refusing to identify himself to authorities.

Yahoo Entertainment reached out to a representative for Panettiere but did not immediately receive a response.

Panettiere and Hickerson have a troubled past. The couple were involved in a drunken altercation with Hickerson's father in South Carolina in October 2018, which resulted in a visit from police. In May 2019, he was arrested for domestic violence. A restraining order was issued, but it was later dropped, and the case was eventually dismissed. Hickerson and Panettiere began dating shortly after the Heroines The separation of Panettiere and fiancé Wladimir Klitschko in 2018. Panettiere and Klitschko have a 5-year-old daughter, Kaya, who lives with her father in Ukraine.

Hickerson was reportedly instructed not to have any contact with the actress.
