Giants training camp, live updates: Day 2 of joint training with the Lions

The New York Giants and Detroit Lions will meet on Tuesday in the second round of their joint training at the Quest Diagnostics Training Center.

Monday's high-intensity practice was filled with skirmishes, including those involving quarterback Daniel Jones and general manager Joe Schoen.

Giants linebacker Bobby Okereke said the aggressiveness during training is “in the nature of things” when training together.

Safety Dane Belton agreed.

“There will never be a situation like this where there is no fight, but we are focused on the basics,” Belton said. “At the end of the day, you have to play and win. We have to stay calm and play.”
