Pennsylvania man arrested in Maryland after aggressive driving and charged with attempted murder

An Adams County man was arrested by Maryland State Police following a road rage incident in Frederick County.

Bryant Paradine, 37, of Littlestown faces several charges, including attempted murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a serious crime.

According to Maryland State Troopers, police were called to US15 at Tippin Drive around 7:30 a.m. for a report of a road rage incident involving gunfire.

When police arrived at the scene, they found evidence of shots fired through the victim's passenger window and a projectile at the scene.

Officials say the victim called 911 and reported the suspect vehicle was a maroon Chevrolet SUV with Pennsylvania plates. The victim was not injured.

State police later found the vehicle unoccupied and parked at a business location in Thurmont, MD.

Investigators then found Paradine inside the building and obtained a search warrant for his vehicle. State police discovered a loaded 9mm handgun and a shell casing inside.
