Predicting who will win every fight Cobra Kai prepares in Season 6

Summary

  • Cobra Kai sets the stage for exciting tournament showdowns between the teams of Johnny, Daniel and Kreese.
  • The fight between Kenny and Anthony is likely to go in Kenny's favor due to his experience and talent.
  • Because of her focus and will to win, Tory has the edge in a possible duel against Sam.

A handful of exciting showdowns are scheduled for Cobra Kai's remaining episodes. The first five episodes of Cobra Kai's The final season saw the teams that Johnny Lawrence, Daniel LaRusso and John Kreese will lead in the show's final chapters, and the show gave a preview of the challenges to come.

Naturally, Cobra Kai has barely shown the rest of the Sekai Taikai teams and has left some of the upcoming encounters shrouded in mystery, especially when it comes to how the team events will be organized. However, the conflicts that are in the spotlight, the rules that have been set for the Sekai Taikai, and the fighters chosen for the teams give an idea of which characters will be facing off against each other. And who will win these likely encounters is also revealed by previous results.

Kenny vs Anthony

Expected Winner: Kenny

Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) is upset because his son Anthony LaRusso (Griffin Santopietro) was hit by a car in season 6 of Cobra Kai and is bleeding from the nose.

While Cobra Kai's The current focus is on the tournament, there is little chance of losing sight of the characters outside of the competition. Non-Sekai Taikai fights that make sense for the remaining episodes include Kenny versus Anthony. Not long after things cool down between them, Cobra Kai gave Kenny another reason to despise Anthony when he blamed his former rival for his disqualification from Miyagi-do's Sekai Taikai team. Cobra Kai could theoretically resolve this misunderstanding without violence, but that would contradict the character of the show.

When this fight takes place, It is easy to imagine something similar happening as during Mike Barnes' test. Anthony landed a punch, proving he does have a certain level of skill, but ultimately it was Kenny who came out on top. As it stands, there's no reason to believe a rematch would have a different outcome. Simply put, Kenny is more experienced and naturally more talented than Anthony.

Johnny vs Daniel

Expected winner: Johnny

After Cobra Kai By season 4, it felt like the show had answered the Johnny vs. Daniel debate: Neither character seemed superior to the other. But with them back at loggerheads in season 6, it looks like the show is gearing up for a new chapter in their rivalry. A fight between them is clearly brewing, and while previous encounters could point to another draw, Cobra Kai was perhaps not keen to repeat historyInstead, the pattern could be broken and a clear winner could be determined.

In this scenario Johnny may have the best chance. Daniel LaRusso had an impressive win when he defeated Terry Silver in the Cobra Kai Season 5 finale, but that doesn't come close to what Johnny has accomplished recently; in the last six episodes of the series, Johnny defeated five of Kim Sun-Yung's adult students and defeated Mike Barnes in a one-on-one match. Mike Barnes was by far Daniel's strongest opponent in Karate Kid films and someone he never really surpassed.

If their fight is spontaneous and not on points like the one with Barnes, Johnny would certainly have the advantage. Daniel may be very skilled, but he has yet to show the stamina and toughness that Johnny showed during the fight at Silver's house.

Tory vs Sam

Expected winner: Tory

Tory and Sam in Cobra Kai Season 5

Although Tory no longer has a personal problem with Sam, the two characters are still on a collision course. As female captains of their respective teams, it is inevitable that the two will face off against each other during the individual competitions of the Sekai Taikai tournament. Although Tory “won” In their last fight, it was Sam who won. But similar to what happened with Robby and Miguel in Cobra Kai, They are so evenly matched that their fights could easily go one way or the other every time.

From the looks of things, Tory may have the edge, albeit just barely. She's focused and highly motivated, while Sam is probably much more conflicted with her feelings. Despite the end of the relationship, there is no real animosity between him and her, and their friendship may hold Sam back. Tory, on the other hand, is filled with grief and on track to dedicate herself even more to her training. For Tory, winning the Sekai Taikai is her ultimate goal, and there's no indication that Sam feels the same way.

Robby vs Kwon

Expected Winner: Kwon

Cobra Kai has made personal motivation a big factor in its matches, as shown by Robby's relationship with Tory, which was used to turn the tide in his fight against Miguel. Robby had previously said that his wish was to be on stage with Tory if Miyagi-do wins the tournament. But no matter who wins, that possibility has been ruled out. This takes away a key part of what drove Robby, and it remains to be seen if he will be able to leverage that into his performance in upcoming matches.

When Robby thinks about what's in store for the male captain of the Miyagi-do team, he can't let himself get distracted. He'll probably face off against Kwon, as he's his Cobra Kai counterpart in singles competition. Based on what's been seen of Kwon's abilities so far, the new Season 6 villain is the best and most versatile fighter the kids have fought in Johnny and Daniel's dojo so far. His speed, acrobatic moves, and sheer brutality in combat don't make Robby's chances seem very unlikely.

Cobra Kai vs. Miyagi-do

Expected winner: Miyagi-do

Miyagi-Do and Eagle Fang students together in season 6 of Cobra Kai

Kwon defeating Robby could well spell disaster for Miyagi-do's six-man team, but it won't end their hopes of winning the Sekai Taikai. The show has already put a lot of emphasis on the “team” aspect of the competition, and that could be their key to victory. It was explicitly stated that it was “Team eventsso we're likely to see two-on-two or maybe even six-on-six matches.

With Kwon, Cobra Kai has the best fighter on the board, but he hardly seems like a team player. Cobra Kai has gradually built up relationships between the various students in the Miyagi-do dojo, and this dynamic will surely impact the upcoming fights.

One downside to Miyagi-do is that without Kenny and Tory, it doesn't have the strongest team possible. Demetri and Devon are arguably the weakest links of the group, as both had to resort to dirty tactics to get their place on the team. Daniel's doubts about the assembled lineup seemed justified, but it's worth noting that every member of the team contributes something. And with fighters like Miguel, Hawk, Robby, and Sam all fighting on the same side, Miyagi-do has a real chance to win it all. Cobra Kai's last season.
