Clint Eastwood is doing well after Christina Sanderas' death, says son Scott

Scott Eastwood speaks out after a recent family tragedy.

Last month, Christina Sandera, the longtime partner of Scott's legendary father Clint Eastwood, died at the age of 61.

Scott, 38, gave an update on how the family – including 94-year-old Clint – is doing following Sandera's death.

“Everyone is doing great,” the “Fast X” star told E! News on Wednesday.

Scott added of his father: “He's fine. Thanks for asking.”

Sandera died on July 18.

She died of a heart attack, a representative of the Monterey County Health Department confirmed exclusively to The Post.

The death certificate listed cardiac arrhythmia, an abnormality in the rhythm or pattern of the heartbeat, as the immediate cause of death. Another condition that led to Sandera's death was atherosclerotic coronary artery disease.

Clint mourned Sandera in a statement when news of her death broke last month.

“Christina was a wonderful, caring woman and I will miss her very much,” said the “Million Dollar Baby” actor.

The two met when Sandera was working as a hostess at Clint's Mission Ranch Hotel and Restaurant in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California.

Their relationship was very low-key – although Sandera accompanied Clint to various Hollywood events over the years, including the red carpet premieres of “Sully” in 2016, “The Mule” in 2018, “The 15:17 to Paris” in 2018 and “Richard Jewell” in 2019.

They also attended the 2015 Academy Awards when Clint's film American Sniper was nominated for six Oscars.

A month before Sandera's death, the couple attended the wedding of Clint's daughter Morgan at his 55-acre ranch in Carmel, California.

Morgan, 27, posted a tribute to Sandera on her Instagram story following her death, writing: “Thank you Christina for being a good partner to my dad ❤️ you will be missed so much,” she added.

In addition to Scott and Morgan, Clint has six other children: daughters Laurie Murray, 70, Kimber Lynn Eastwood, 60, Alison Eastwood, 52, Kathryn Eastwood, 36, and Francesca Eastwood, 30, and son Kyle Eastwood, 56.

Scott has followed in his father's footsteps as an actor. His best known films include “Invictus”, “Texas Chainsaw”, “Suicide Squad”, “The Home of the Living” and “Pacific Rim Uprising”.

He also played Taylor Swift's lover in her music video “Wildest Dreams”.

In 2014, Scott's ex-girlfriend Jewel Brangman died in a minor car accident due to a defective airbag.

In an interview with GQ Australia in 2017, he spoke openly about the tragedy.

“I've lost friends before; I've lost some great friends. But I've never lost anyone that I was really intimate with, you know, in that way, in a relationship,” he said.
