Police in Ayden search for suspects

AYDEN, NC (WITN) – A police department in Eastern Carolina is searching for a suspect they believe is responsible for a shooting in July.

Ayden Police are looking for Nazion Williams because he is facing ten charges related to weapons possession.

Investigators say he is connected to a shooting that occurred in the Kennedy Estates neighborhood on July 28.

Officials said a search warrant was served on August 1 for Williams' home at 312 Allen Drive.

Williams faces three counts of discharging a firearm into an inhabited property, three counts of criminal damage to real property, two counts of criminal damage to personal property, one count of misdemeanor intimidation with a weapon, and one count of discharging a firearm within city limits.
