LOS ANGELES (TND) — According to TMZ, several arrests have been made in connection with the death of actor Matthew Perry.

The “Friends” actor died last year.

He was found dead in a pool at his Los Angeles home on October 28, 2023.

According to reports Thursday, a doctor and suspected drug traffickers are in custody following a joint investigation by local and federal authorities.

An autopsy revealed that the 54-year-old star died from the acute effects of ketamine, according to the Los Angeles County coroner's office.

Other factors contributing to Perry's death included drowning, coronary heart disease and the effects of buprenorphine, a drug used to treat opioid addiction.

Los Angeles police told the National Desk in May that they were cooperating with federal authorities in the investigation into his death.
