Disney Speedstorm lives the life of a pirate in its latest season “Looking for Trouble”

If you're not a big fan of realistic cars like Ferrari's, don't worry, because Gameloft has a racing game that's a bit more “magical.” The same publisher behind Asphalt Legends Unite also publishes the racing game featuring the residents of the Magic Kingdom, Disney Speedstorm. Like its real-life car cousin, Disney Speedstorm is free-to-play and supports cross-save and cross-play across all platforms it's available on.

Starting August 13th, Speedstorm will launch its newest season, focused on the Pirates of the Caribbean, called “Looking for Trouble.” While characters like Jack Sparrow and Elizabeth Swann have been available as racers since the game's launch, they're now joined by more characters like Will Turner, Hector Barbossa, Tia Dalma, and the cursed captain of the Flying Dutchman!

In addition to new racers and crew members, the track biome based on the A Pirate's Life films will be expanded with new additions such as the Ship Graveyard, Tia Dalma's Cabin, Fort Charles, and even a Treasure Cave!

Season 9 of Disney Speedstorm is now live and will likely run for a month and a half or two, so if you're a Pirates of the Caribbean fan, you might want to give this free launch title a shot because you'll at least get to hear some great Disney remixes. Disney Speedstorm is currently available on PC, Switch, iOS, Android, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms.
