Report: Father of two killed in shooting at Glendale mall

GLENDALE, CALIFORNIA – A man was shot and killed at a Glendale mall Thursday in what witnesses and investigators say may have been a planned killing.

The victim, a father of two and music industry promoter, was leaving a business meeting where the gunman was waiting for him on a motorcycle, KTLA reported, citing witnesses.

Glendale Police officers were called to the 800 block of North Arden Avenue around 8:45 a.m. A 911 caller reported a shooting and a man dead at the scene, according to Glendale police.

“I heard this man came to a meeting here and another man on a motorcycle came and shot the victim in the head, he died instantly,” a witness who wished to remain anonymous told KTLA.

No arrests have been reported and no information on suspects has been released.
