Woman gets in trouble after submitting fake documents to get US visa

Delhi Police has registered a case against a woman for attempting to obtain a US visa using “fake documents” and has begun investigation. The US Embassy in India, in its complaint to Delhi Police on Wednesday, alleged that a woman named Jashandeep Kaur, a resident of Punjab, had applied for a non-immigrant visa.

In her online visa application, she stated that she was employed as an administrative assistant at Kapoor Associates in Haryana from October 19, 2020 to July 31, 2022.

However, during interrogation by the US Embassy officials, the accused admitted that she had never worked for Kapoor Associates and that she had obtained the forged documents from another accused named Jaswant Singh, who is a friend of her father.
