The driver of the Toyota, 50-year-old Daryl Antonie Wright, died at the scene of the accident.

The preliminary investigation indicated Wright was speeding when his car struck the Honda Passport, police said. The Toyota then rolled over, struck the Nissan Pathfinder and a utility pole, and then came to rest on its roof.

The drivers of the Honda and the Nissan suffered minor injuries and were treated on site.

According to police, speed was apparently a factor in the accident.
