Man arrested and charged with murder in fatal shooting at Gwinnett County home

ATLANTA, Georgia (Atlanta News First) – A day after a man was shot and killed in a Gwinnett County home, another man has been arrested and charged with murder.

Ruben Santos Auxume-Guerra, 42, was arrested by officers at a home in DeKalb County on Tuesday, the Gwinnett County Sheriff's Office said. He is charged with first-degree murder, aggravated assault and possession of a weapon during the commission of certain crimes.

On Wednesday afternoon, police were called to a home in the 6200 block of Josephine Road near Buford Highway. They found the victim, identified as 28-year-old Anthony Hernandez, dead “with at least one gunshot wound.”

Police believe the shooting began as an argument between the two.
