Schenectady Police Investigate Active Crime Scene on Morris Avenue | News

SCHENECTADY – Schenectady police continued to investigate an active crime scene on Morris Avenue Friday afternoon. The street was closed in both directions and detectives were entering and exiting a residence on the street.

A neighbor reported Friday morning that she overheard an argument coming from the Morris Avenue home Thursday afternoon and called police.

The neighbor said that the unidentified male resident of the house in question worked as a plumber, while the female resident of the house was known to meticulously maintain the house's garden.

Schenectady police did not respond to multiple requests for comment on the Morris Avenue crime scene Friday.

Both sides of the tree-lined street were closed to traffic on Friday while police investigators in white coats examined a brown house surrounded by crime scene tape.
