New York pharmacist charged with sexually extorting Utah man

NORTH LOGAN – A New York pharmacist is accused of sexually extorting a Utah man by posing as a woman on social media.

Frank T. Guillot, 52, of Ronkonkoma, New York, was arraigned Thursday in Utah's 1st District Court on three counts of aggravated sexual assault of an adult, a second-degree felony; three counts of abuse of an intimate image during criminal conduct, a Class A misdemeanor; and theft by extortion, a Class B misdemeanor. Prosecutors have requested a warrant for his arrest.

In February, a Utah resident began chatting on Snapchat with someone he thought was a woman, according to charging documents.

“(He) stated that during the course of his conversation with this individual, he sent explicit photographs and videos of himself,” the indictment states. “After (the man) sent the photographs, the individual identified himself as a man and told (the Utah man) that he needed to pay him $400 to stop sending the explicit photographs to (his) acquaintances list.”

The man sent $400. But prosecutors say Guillot then demanded another $400.

The Utah man also communicated with Guillot via Instagram “and identified the individual by his Instagram username as 'Frank the Bald Guy,' who was from Queens, New York. (The man) stated the money was transferred to Frank via Venmo under the same username 'Frank the Bald Guy,'” charging documents state.

Police were contacted and searched the Venmo account. Investigators found that the name on the account was Guillot and that he “possessed a valid New York pharmacist's license,” the indictment states.

A LinkedIn page allegedly set up by Guillot states: “I am a guitarist first and foremost. I also sing. This is why I am known as frankthebaldguy. I am also a certified HIV pharmacist. And finally, I am an investor. Real estate is my most recent investment interest.”
