Teens arrested after allegedly shooting at Aurora police during a chase

AURORA, Colorado – Four teenagers were arrested after allegedly firing 20 shots at police officers in Aurora during a chase.

According to Aurora police, the incident occurred last week while officers were pursuing a stolen vehicle. Police said their officers were “assaulted by multiple juvenile offenders.”

Aurora police said more than 20 shots were fired at officers, leading to a chase through parts of Aurora and Denver.

Aurora PD releases bodycam video after chase involving teenagers

After the pursuit, four juveniles were arrested. According to Aurora police, several firearms were also confiscated.

The suspects are between 15 and 16 years old. Since they are minors, their identities will not be disclosed.

According to Aurora police, the teens are each charged with two counts of attempted premeditated murder of a police officer, one count of grand theft auto and one count of second-degree burglary.
