Producer of the series “Home and Away” warns fans about tragic episode

A very dramatic and heartbreaking week ago on Home and AwaySeries producer Lucy Addario has warned fans to “make sure your tissue box is nearby” as tonight's episode sees a series regular leave the show by going to the other side. And no, we don't mean Mangrove River.

The death of a popular character has been excitingly prepared for weeks Home and Away fans, and everyone is 99.9% sure that the person we are saying goodbye to is Felicity Newman, played by Jacqui Purvis.

The Death of Flick will be shown tonight at 7pm on Channel 7 and 7plus. Before the emotional (and no doubt very dramatic) farewell, Lucy said the episode will be absolutely “tremendous”.

In an interview with 7NEWS.com.au, Lucy said: “Tonight there is a massive episode of Home and Away. I promise you won't want to miss this!” before adding: “Cash and Eden's magical surprise engagement party on the beach will see many of our Summer Bay favourites come together to celebrate the joy.”

Sorry, sorry, I'm not mad, I'm just disappointed.

Aside from the looming threat of Flick's death, Eden and Levi's little sister Abigail will show up in the Bay to bring their family back together. “Her surprise arrival will spark a major storyline for the Fowler siblings,” Lucy said. “There's a lot going on at this party… from every angle. And then, to top it all off, tragedy will strike, with the life of one of our most beloved characters at stake.”

Home and Away fans' convincing theory about the main character's death

Last week, Home and Away Fans began to speculate about Felicity's untimely end, and one had a particularly compelling theory.

“They were going to shoot and kill Cash, but instead they miss and shoot Felicity. This all happens at Eden and Cash's engagement party next Monday (August 12th) through Tuesday!”

No offense, I wish they had gotten Cash. Eden needs all his savings to continue living in Summer Bay without a job. Haha, I'm kidding, Cash and Eden, if you're reading this.

Fans are pretty devastated that Jacqui/Felicity is leaving The Bay, with some saying she is the best actress on the show.

“Flick I know this is acting but please don't die because I will never get over this grief. Find another way to leave the show,” one fan pleaded, while another commented in great applause, “Bless you, you were the best actress to ever be on the show.”

Jacqui Purvis hints at her character's death

Back in 2022, when we were all young and naive, Jacqui told Yahoo Lifestyle she wanted Felicity's exit to be “dramatic.”

“I want to be killed, I want a really dramatic death, really intense, bloody, everyone crying,” she said. “And yes, death, die!”

Well, I guess that's it. Unless they let Felicity be reborn through Harper's womb? Then Tane will raise her? That would be pretty crappy, but free ideas from H&A writers.
