1 dead in shooting near apartment complex in southwest Oklahoma City

Oklahoma City police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred late Saturday night at an apartment complex in the 2700 block of SW 74th Street.

Officers responded to reports of gunshots at around 9:15 p.m. They found a person shot at the scene. The victim was taken to a hospital where he later died.

The exact circumstances leading to the shooting remain unclear and authorities are still investigating.

Police arrested several witnesses at the scene but did not release any information about the victim.
