Three people arrested in fatal shooting at Cross Creek Apartments – The Island News – Beaufort, SC

Beaufort police have arrested three suspects in connection with a murder that occurred at the Cross Creek Apartments on Wednesday.

Jafari Brown, 24, Stardaisha Richardson, 26, and Emily Cole, 31, were arrested Saturday, August 17, in connection with the August 14 shooting death of Marquise Tyrell Green, 33.

Brown was charged with murder, possession of a firearm or ammunition by a person convicted of certain felonies (first prior offense), and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

Richardson and Cole were charged with aiding and abetting a Class A, B or C felony and murder, respectively.

According to a press release, police arrived at the scene around 9:50 p.m. Wednesday after receiving reports of a shooting.

At the crime scene, officers discovered a victim with numerous gunshot wounds; he died at the scene, despite being immediately helped by officers, firefighters and emergency services.
