YoungBoy Never Broke Again pleads guilty in federal weapons case

YoungBoy Never Broke Again intends to enter a guilty plea so that his gun case in federal court can be moved from Baton Rouge to Utah.

XXL reports that documents obtained by the outlet indicate that YoungBoy plans to plead guilty to one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and send the case to Utah for further trial.

Last week, YoungBoy's attorney Drew Findling filed the necessary legal documents to make this move possible – making his situation more comfortable as he faces multiple criminal charges in Utah.

In September 2020, YoungBoy was arrested for brandishing firearms while filming a music video in Baton Rouge. When police arrived at the scene, they discovered several firearms – and they also claimed that YoungBoy himself had a 9mm pistol.

As for the charges he is currently facing in Utah, YoungBoy was accused earlier this year of organizing a fraudulent drug ring and is facing 63 felonies and misdemeanors.

He was placed under house arrest by local authorities and faces charges including repeated illegal activity, obtaining or attempting to obtain drugs, identity fraud, forgery, possession of a dangerous weapon and possession of controlled substances.

Authorities believe that at least 15 pharmacies were involved in the crimes. In addition, three other people are said to have gone to various pharmacies with prescriptions from fake doctors so that the employees could fill them out.

In July, during a hearing on his case in Utah held over Zoom, YoungBoy's fans managed to virtually invade the courtroom and show their support for YoungBoy by insulting the judge, calling on the system to “release YB” and for Judge Spencer Walsh to shut his ass up.”

The next virtual court date for YoungBoy’s Utah case is scheduled for August 19.
