Ludhiana: A group attacked a team of State Railway Police that had achieved Naginder Nagar near Samrala Chowk to get a Drug dealersThe accused tried to escape, while his brothers and helpers attacked the police officers, who nevertheless did not let their man escape.
A case was registered against the arrested Rajinder Kumar Bhatia 'Tita' at Division No. 3 police station. His brothers Bawa Bhatia, Bittu Bhatia and Heera Bhatia and 15 of his aides were named in the complaint. Rajinder was ill when the police came to arrest him, so only his brothers and aides managed to escape.
