Pakistan have suffered a major setback ahead of their Test series against Bangladesh scheduled for August 21. Aamir Jamal, a right-handed fast bowler, has been dropped from Pakistan's Test squad.

According to the latest information, Aamir, who was initially included in the squad pending his fitness clearance, has now been instructed to focus on his recovery at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore and has been released from the squad.

The 27-year-old player sustained a back injury in a county cricket match earlier this year and is currently recovering.

The Pakistan Cricket Board’s decision to make Aamir’s long-term health its top priority is a testament to its commitment to the welfare of its players.

Meanwhile, the second Test has been shifted to the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium due to the planned construction work in Karachi. This change will provide a better playing environment for the teams and also ensure that spectators can watch the match at the stadium.
