Car collector from Detroit owns several cars from famous movies

We have all dreamed at least once in our lives of owning and driving the cars we see on the silver screen – well, one man from Detroit has come close to making that dream come true, as he owns several cars from famous movies.

Mark Marougi has been collecting famous movie cars since 2005.

His collection includes cars from films such as The Fast And Furious, A Duke rarely comes aloneand more.

Movie car collection

Marougi has a strong passion for muscle cars and movies with fast cars.

His passion has also led him to buy many iconic cars from famous movies.

He travels to collect these cars and he has had about 30 different famous movie cars.

Marougi not only collects these cars, but also sells them.

His current car collection is also full of muscle cars, and you may recognize some of them.

Cult cars from famous films

Marougi currently owns five iconic cars from famous movies that you may recognize.

“I used to own a lot of muscle cars, but I think these are cooler because people know them and they're not lost in time. They're basically timeless, people see them and think, 'Oh, I remember that car,'” Marougi told 7 News Detroit.

His first film car was the Black Beauty from Green Hornet (original TV series), which he bought in 2005.

He also owned a 1993 Toyota Supra, another car that Paul Walker drove in the first Fast and Furious.

“It takes people back to their childhood, and I think that's why I buy a lot of these cars, because I remember how beautiful childhood was,” Marougi said.

These cult cars from famous films are also an important part of cinema history.

Since each has its own story, it is no wonder they are so highly valued.
