Free Event: Help Fight Hunger at Monument Circle

The Midwest Food Bank (MFB), in partnership with Kroger and Corteva, is hosting a free event in Monument Circle on Saturday, August 24th from 2-6 p.m. The event aims to provide $2 million worth of food to Indiana residents in need.

The event features entertainment from local celebrities, dance groups and choirs. From 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Brett Wisconsin will perform in concert. As an artist, he has shared the stage with Jon Bon Jovi, Jimmy Buffett, Darius Rucker and others.

In addition, the event will feature vendors selling local produce, arts and crafts, and food trucks.

Visitors can stop by the Midwest information booth and pick up a free reusable shopping bag. By donating $100 to the Midwest Food Bank, attendees will be entered into a drawing to win a Colts football signed by Anthony Richardson, Ryan Kelly, Jonathon Taylor, Quentin Nelson and more.

MFB is the only food bank that serves the entire state, distributing $74 million annually to those in need. Founded in 2003, MFB has 10 domestic locations serving 23 states, as well as two international locations in East Africa and Haiti.
