Taylor Swift meets with the families of the victims of the tragic stabbings during the dance class

Taylor Swift meets with families affected by knife attacks on their children at a dance class that is her motto.

The “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” singer returned to the UK for a series of performances in London and met with several of the Southport families.

Following the July 30 incident, Swift posted a message on social media expressing the horror she experienced.

“The horror of yesterday's attack in Southport is still running through my mind and I am in complete shock…” Swift said in a statement last month. “The loss of life and innocence and the horrific trauma inflicted on all who were there, the families and the first responders.”

She continued: “These were just little kids in a dance class. I don't know how I can ever express my sympathy to these families.”

Merseyside Local Authorities confirmed the arrest of a 17-year-old boy following the murder of three children. The minor has been charged with the murder of Bebe King, Elsie Dot Stancombe and Alice Dasilva. He has also been charged with ten counts of attempted murder and possession of a knife.

At a hearing on August 1, Judge Menary set no bail, telling the boy, “You will be placed in juvenile detention pending the outcome of the case. I will not grant you bail today.”

A pre-trial hearing was scheduled for October 25, with a tentative trial start date of January 20, 2025.
