Student allegedly used a taser during a fight at Davidson High School

MOBILE, Alabama (WALA) – FOX10 News is looking for answers after a Taser was allegedly used in a fight at Davidson High School.

Video footage showed a group of people outside the school building pulling each other's hair when suddenly a type of taser that looked like a stun gun was fired.

One student said he quickly walked away from the altercation after seeing the gun.

“They just started fighting and suddenly someone pulled out a taser out of nowhere and a girl was attacked,” they said. “I could see the light. When a taser goes off, it glows kind of blue. Yes, I saw it.”

According to the student, the fight lasted about three minutes before the faculty intervened.

This year, the Mobile County public school system installed 48 gun detectors in schools.

To get in, students must go through the screening system.

Once again the fight broke out outside the school.

A member of the MCPSS school board told FOX10 News he was concerned there was a gun on campus.
