'Kill Bill' and 'Reservoir Dogs' actor Michael Madsen arrested in Malibu on domestic violence charges – Orange County Register

MALIBU — Michael Madsen, best known for his acting roles in “Kill Bill” and “Reservoir Dogs,” was taken into custody over the weekend on suspicion of domestic violence, authorities said Monday.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Malibu/Lost Hills Station, officers responded to the 31600 block of Broad Beach Road around 12:15 a.m. Saturday for a “family dispute.” A woman reported that her husband had pushed her and locked her out of the house.

The husband, later identified as 66-year-old Madsen, was charged with domestic violence.

According to Variety, he was released on $20,000 bail.

“It was a disagreement between Michael and his wife that we hope will be resolved positively for both of them,” a spokesperson for Madsen told Variety.

The veteran actor has appeared in more than 200 films and is best known for his role as the evil Mr. Blonde in “Reservoir Dogs.” He also played Budd in both “Kill Bill” films and starred in “The Hateful Eight.”
