The race for the US Senate in Michigan is one of several races that could decide the majority in the chamber this fall.

Trump will speak about law enforcement and crime at the Livingston County Sheriff's Office on Tuesday afternoon.

Several sheriffs in Michigan criticized the Biden and Harris administrations for their border policies and spoke about the impact of drug trafficking and fentanyl in their communities. In his remarks, Van Buren County Sheriff Daniel Abbott listed a number of recent crimes that he said were committed by people in the country illegally, and said the crimes could have been prevented if the perpetrators had been prevented from entering the country.

“Make the obvious decision in November and re-elect Donald Trump,” Abbott said.
