The Undertaker ranks Gunther higher than Ric Flair because of his famous wrestling move performance

The career of the current heavyweight world champion Gunther is on the up. Before the world championship fight of The Rind General at Bash in Berlin, the Undertaker made a bold statement in his favor. According to the Undertaker, Gunther's punches (with the flat of his hand to the chest) are more impressive than those of the 16-time world champion Ric Flair.

One of the most outstanding features of Gunther's move set is his abilities. The former Intercontinental Champion has left his mark on the chests of several WWE Superstars. For the viewer, Gunther's abilities are painful to watch and hear, not to mention feel.

However, before Gunther received recognition for this feat, Ric Flair was known for delivering one of the hardest punches in the wrestling industry. During his podcast Six Feet Under, The Undertaker highlighted the difference between Gunther's and Ric Flair's punches.

According to Phenom, Ric Flair's chops are more of a “work shoot.” After being in the ring with Flair several times, The Undertaker pointed out that Flair's chops are not as effective because they involve a slide-off after contact.

Gunther's punches, on the other hand, are more direct and harder. The battle scars that his opponents receive after fighting him show the power behind each of Gunther's punches.

The Undertaker commented on Six Feet Under: “I think (Ric) Flair's punch was a good shot. It was there, you felt it. But Gunther, man… there's not really a lot of hit and slide off with Gunther. His (punch) is more hit-and-go and there's a recoil and another one that comes right back, but it's perfect for him.”

Taker also stated that the scariest thing about being hit by Gunther is the fact that he throws punch after punch and keeps bouncing back.

While fans have seen the Undertaker face Ric Flair several times, a fight between Gunther and the Undertaker remains limited to video games since the Deadman has retired from wrestling.

Nevertheless, The Undertaker is a big fan of the Austrian wrestler and believes that he will be an even bigger babyface than Randy Orton at the Bash in Berlin in Germany.

The sequel to Gunther vs. Randy Orton is set to be for the former's World Heavyweight Championship. Their rematch was promised by Triple H after Orton was mistakenly declared the loser of the King of the Ring match against Gunther in Saudi Arabia.

The duo have since cut intense promos on Raw, insulting each other on the mic. With Randy Orton determined to win his 15th World Title, something has to happen at Bash in Berlin.
