Columbia man charged with further sex crimes against children

COLUMBIA, Missouri (KMIZ)

A Columbia man who was previously charged with multiple sex crimes against children in February has been charged again.

Keith Fletcher, 53, was charged Tuesday with possession of child pornography, second-degree child abuse, second-degree child sex trafficking, second-degree rape, sexual exploitation of a minor and witness tampering.

Fletcher is being held without bail in the Boone County Jail. An initial court appearance was scheduled for Tuesday.

Fletcher was charged earlier this year with first-degree sodomy, two counts of first-degree child abuse, one count of failure to register as a sex offender and living less than 1,000 feet from a school as a sex offender. A hearing in the case was scheduled for 9 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3.

According to the probable cause statement in the indictment filed Tuesday, Fletcher allegedly filmed himself sexually abusing a child several times between December and February.
