Son of famous drummer arrested in Nevada murder investigation

The son of one of rock's most famous drummers is behind bars awaiting trial in a murder trial involving two victims. The crimes were reportedly committed near Lake Tahoe, Nevada.

Creedence Clearwater signed their first record deal in 1967 and formed in the San Francisco area, according to rockhall.com. The Clifford family has reportedly lived in Lake Tahoe for decades. Lake Tahoe borders both California and Nevada.

Sfgate.com reports there is one male and one female victim in the case. The woman's body was found this week after she was reported missing. She was believed to have been with the person in question and was last seen in his company, according to sfgate.com.

Lake Tahoe is a community with about 55,000 residents, according to tahoependata.comHomicides are extremely rare in the region. The lake is one of the biggest summer tourist attractions for residents of Southern Nevada and Central California and also draws many visitors to its summer lakeside concerts.
