Route 10 in Farmington closed after serious accident involving 2 motorcycles and a car

FARMINGTON, CT (WFSB) – Route 10 in Farmington was closed after a serious crash involving two motorcycles and a car Tuesday afternoon.

Police responded to the incident, which occurred at 2:24 p.m. on Waterville Road north of Farmington Avenue.

LifeStar was dispatched to the scene and transported a patient in critical condition.

Two other people were taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital.

The North Central Regional Accident Reconstruction Squad is investigating the accident.

Waterville Road is closed between Farmington Avenue and Aqueduct Lane and is expected to remain closed for several hours while the investigation continues.
