A motorcyclist was evacuated from the scene of a three-vehicle crash in Princeton Tuesday afternoon after he was thrown from his motorcycle.

At about 11:40 a.m., emergency crews closed Great Road in the 1200 block between Ridgeview Road and Heather Lane for about 40 minutes while they cleaned up a multi-vehicle crash.

At the scene of the accident, the motorcycle had fallen onto the road.

A white Honda was in the southbound lane of Great Road; a van was in the northbound lane and a white Nissan Altima was traveling northbound in the opposite lane.

The road was clear.

Princeton Police Lt. Matthew Solovay confirmed that the driver of the motorcycle was transported by Princeton First Aid and Rescue Unit to Capital Health Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

The victim was heard responding to paramedics' questions by saying he could not remember where he had come from or where he was going when he was hit.

Solvay said the incident was not a criminal incident and remains under investigation by Princeton Police Patrol Officer Adam Santos.

Princeton Fire Department Rescue Vehicle 60 and the Princeton Fire Chief were also on scene.
