5 famous football players go undercover in a new dating show. Who are they?

In Peacock's newest dating show, “Love Undercover,” five famous football players find out how successful they would be in today's dating world without their superstar status.

The streaming platform released the trailer for its upcoming reality series featuring five current and former international soccer stars on April 4.

Following a format similar to other dating shows such as “Joe Millionaire” and the short-lived “I Wanna Marry 'Harry',” the athletes will keep their true identities secret from the contestants.

As the clip shows, the men are used to a life of luxury, with expensive sports cars, designer clothes and encounters with paparazzi. But in “Love Undercover” they temporarily move to Los Angeles, where they meet a group of single American women who have no idea who they are.

Disguised as building contractors, salesmen and restaurant managers, they find out whether they can appeal to women even without their good reputation and wealth.

The men go on several dates and try not to reveal details of their daily lives at home. But it seems that over time some women realize that the men are keeping secrets from them.

“None of the men are honest about who they are,” candidate Jacklyn Romano tells the other ladies in a clip.

After a few dates, the men must confess their identities before inviting one of the women to return to Europe with them.
