Glynn County Police arrested a 28-year-old man in connection with the murder of a homeless man

BRUNSWICK, Georgia. – Glynn County Police have arrested a 28-year-old man in connection with the murder of a man at a homeless encampment on Merchants Way in June 2023.

On June 7, 2023, the GCPD found 39-year-old Christopher Suttles with a gunshot wound in the warehouse.

Life-saving efforts, including resuscitation, were unsuccessful and Suttles succumbed to his injuries.

On Monday, police arrested 28-year-old Alex Etheredge and charged him with manslaughter in connection with Suttles' death.

The investigation is ongoing and further charges are expected in this case.
