Fatal rollover accident on the Paseo exit at 2nd St.

Albuquerque –

A fatal rollover accident is currently occurring on the Paseo del Norte exit ramp at 2nd Street. At least one person was killed in this accident, and a total of five vehicles were reportedly involved in the accident.

BCSO posted on X that the following routes are affected:

“All lanes are closed in the area of ​​Paseo del Norte and 2nd St NW.

• Eastbound exit ramp to Paseo to 2nd St closed.
• Exit ramp from Paseo westbound to 2nd St. closed.
• At El Pueblo the entire northbound lane is closed.
• Full southbound closure on Paseo del Norte – Traffic will be diverted westbound to the Paseo.

Please avoid the area as officers will be on site for an extended period of time.”
