Huawei's triple-folding smartphone will be released in September

Huawei has confirmed that it is preparing to release a next-generation foldable smartphone.

The news was announced by Huawei CEO Richard Yu during a handover ceremony for the Stelato S9 electric car, which runs on HarmonyOS. During the event, a customer asked Yu about the launch of a smartphone that folds into three parts. The CEO replied that the novelty will hit the market in September.

If rumors are to be believed, the gadget will be powered by the flagship Kirin 9000S processor. The device will also receive a main camera with at least three modules and a thin body. The smartphone will ship with a proprietary operating system. Unfortunately, there are no further details about the gadget yet.
