Summer update for Disney Dreamlight Valley live, launch trailer released

The latest update for Disney Dreamlight Valley is now available!

The latest update for Disney Dreamlight Valley has been officially released, bringing a whole host of new content and several bug fixes. Readers who want to know what has changed can check out the game's patch notes here. However, highlights of today's update include the addition of Tiana from Kiss the frogher restaurant Tiana's Palace and the new Dapper Delights Star Path. Gameloft has noted that it may take up to two hours for today's update to actually roll out across all of the game's platforms, but a quick look shows that it's at least available on Xbox.

Players should immediately notice that the update is live, as the game's loading screen now features Tiana. To celebrate the new update, Disney Dreamlight Valley has released a new trailer showcasing some of the various Star Path items, new content, and new additions to the Premium Shop. As seen in the trailer, Ariel's Royal Bundle is one of the game's new premium shop additions and can be purchased for 4,000 Moonstones. The bundle grants Ariel her pink dress and players receive a Seaside Royal Carriage, a Seaside Villa house style, new furniture pieces, hairstyles, and more. Fans of Beauty and the Beast You'll also find a new companion based on the footstool in the Premium Shop, which also includes a small doghouse that you can place. The pack costs 3,000 Moonstones. Of course, all of this content is optional, and those who prefer to save their Moonstones can do just that!

Today's update also includes the third and final act of the game's paid expansion A crack in time. As mentioned, upon completion of the expansion, players will be able to move Jafar into their valley. As part of Jafar's plans, Mickey has been restored to a form similar to his appearance in Steamboat Willie. At this time, we don't know if Mickey will be able to wear this style all the time, but it seems like a safe bet!
