MACROSS Shooting Insight launches on December 6 in the West

MACROSS Recording Insight will be released both physically and digitally in North America and Europe on December 6 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and Switch, publishers Red Art Games and Bushiroad Games and developer Kaminari Games announced.

The physical edition will be available in North America for PlayStation 5 and Switch, and in Europe for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Switch. The standard edition will be available at launch from multiple retailers, while special editions will be available exclusively from Video Games Plus in North America and RedArtGames.com in Europe.

Pilots, singers and characters from five MACROSS Series (MACROSS Plus, MACROSS Zero, MACROSS7, MACROSS border, MACROSS Delta) are at the center of a completely original story. Improvements in the Western release

MACROSS Recording InsightThe Western version of includes the latest update of the game on disc, which offers the following improvements:

• difficulty – Added a setting that allows for higher HP recovery through auto-recovery. A boost setting has also been added to the current auto-recovery amount. The player's HP will now recover much faster after taking damage than in the original Japanese version of the game.
• sequel follows – After a Game Over in the middle of a level, players can now restart from the same level even if they return to the menu, allowing players to retry as many times as they want.
• Music – The length of the Diva Songs that activate during gameplay has been adjusted. The time between the end of a Diva Song and the return to regular stage music has been adjusted.
• Quality of life – The game controls that appeared only once in the original version of MACROSS Recording Insightis now always displayed when the player pauses the game.
