Doral man arrested after child pornography found on his devices – NBC 6 South Florida

A Doral man was arrested Tuesday after several videos containing child pornography were found on his personal devices, a police report said.

Idelfonso Ramirez-Sanchez, 73, is charged with ten counts of possession of child sexual abuse material, a second-degree felony.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) issued a search warrant for Ramirez-Sanchez's home on Tuesday after the Miami-based Cybercrime Unit and the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC) launched an undercover internet operation that tracked down devices distributing child sexual abuse material in the South Florida region, according to an FDLE press release.

During the search, agents discovered hundreds of files containing child pornography on several of Ramirez-Sanchez's devices.

In the videos, toddlers and other young children are sexually abused by adults, the police report says.

FDLE officials said additional charges may be added following further forensic analysis.

Ramirez-Sanchez was arrested and taken to the Turner Guilford Knight Detention Center.

On Wednesday, the judge in bail court appointed a public defender for Ramirez-Sanchez and set his bail at $25,000.
