Palmyra woman arrested after domestic incident

According to the Wayne County Sheriff's Office, a Palmyra woman was arrested after allegedly damaging property during a domestic dispute.

After investigating an incident at her son and daughter-in-law's home on Route 21, officers charged 75-year-old Beverly E. Quirk with fourth-degree criminal damage to property. Authorities said Quirk damaged an exterior door during the altercation.

Quirk was arrested at the scene and transported to the Wayne County Jail for central arraignment. The victim requested an order of protection.

Quirk is expected to appear in court at a later date to answer the charges.
