Senator Debbie Stabenow speaks at the DNC about inflation

CHICAGO (WNDU) – It's the final night of the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, and it will culminate with a major balloon release after Vice President Kamala Harris officially accepts her party's nomination for president.

As you know, Michigan is a swing state. It's critical for both parties because the road to the White House goes through the Great Lakes State and it gets a little more difficult if you can't secure those votes.

Earlier this week, a who's who of Michigan attended a delegation breakfast that also served as a celebration of two Michiganders, including Senator Debbie Stabenow, who will not seek re-election this year.

WNDU host Joshua Short sat down with Senator Stabenow and talked about one of the problems facing Americans and Michiganders: inflation. She played a big role in the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022, but people are still seeing higher prices, so he urged her on it in the video above.
