Jessica Ross Sheehan, woman from Columbus, Ohio, killed in car crash on Interstate 70

Jessica Sheehan, a 33-year-old woman from Columbus, Ohio, was killed in a tragic car accident on Interstate 70 in Madison County.

The tragic accident occurred on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, when a box truck traveling westbound on I-70 in Jefferson Township left the left side of the road, crossed the center lane and collided with a 2022 Mercedes GLC.

The driver of the Mercedes, Jessica Ross Sheehan of Columbus, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. The driver of the van and his passenger escaped uninjured.

The Ohio Highway State Patrol is investigating the accident and has identified drugs as a factor.

Jessica Sheehan was married to Patrick Sheehan, president of Springfield-based family-owned Sheehan Brothers Vending, which provides vending machines, office coffee and more to customers in Springfield, Columbus, Cincinnati and other areas in Ohio.

Sheehan Brothers Vending released a message announcing the tragic death of Jessica. The message thanked everyone who sent their condolences to the family on this tragic loss and concluded by asking for privacy so the family could mourn the deceased.

It is with great sadness that we announce that our President Patrick Sheehan's wife, Jessica, passed away yesterday in a tragic car accident. We thank each and every person who has reached out to us here at Sheehan Brothers Vending to express their condolences. We ask that you please give Patrick and the Sheehan family privacy during this difficult time.“ was the message.
