CT pedestrian killed in accident; ID released

KILLINGLY, CT – Police are seeking witnesses to a fatal pedestrian crash in Killingly.

A 2009 Subaru Impreza was traveling west on Route 6 in Killingly at 8:16 p.m. Thursday.

As the car approached the intersection of Route 6 and Maple Street, a pedestrian attempted to cross the street in the marked crosswalk despite a pedestrian light, state police said.

The driver did not notice the pedestrian William Perry (39) from Danielson. The right front part of the car struck Perry and led to his death.

The driver of the car was not injured.
