Suspect arrested in West Bay Avenue murder case

In connection with the murder that occurred on June 14 in the Southern District, Baltimore Police investigators have arrested 48-year-old Gregory Barnes.

Investigators found that Barnes shot 39-year-old Dennis Edmonds and left Edmonds in the 4300 block of West Bay Avenue, where police later found him.

On August 22, investigators arrested Gregory Barnes and took him to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he was charged with first-degree murder.
