Top 10 TV shows that ended or will end in 2024; featuring Good Trouble, Young Sheldon and more

The television landscape is experiencing a wave of cancellations across various platforms. Disney+ canceled the action fantasy series American Born Chinese after just one season. Max's pirate romantic comedy Our Flag Means Death was also canceled after two seasons, and Apple TV+ canceled Schmigadoon after two seasons despite having a script for a third season. In addition, Minx, which was initially canceled by Max due to tax losses and then acquired by Starz, was canceled again.

On the other hand, some series end quietly, either due to creative decisions or a lack of audience engagement. The police family drama Blue Bloods, starring Tom Selleck, will end this fall after 14 seasons. Meanwhile, Taylor Sheridan's popular modern western Yellowstone will end with the final episodes of season five, which is set to air on the Paramount Network in November. However, fans can look forward to new spin-offs that will continue the Yellowstone story.
