Thomas De Gendt – “I just need some freedom” at his last Vuelta a España

Already at the beginning of the sixth stage of the Vuelta a España, attentive fans had noticed that a familiar figure was in the breakaway group: specialist Thomas de Gendt was doing his best to break away in his last Grand Tour.
