Man sentenced to over 20 years in prison for sexual assault and burglary

MULTNOMAH COUNTY, Ore. (KPTV) – A 34-year-old man was sentenced to more than 20 years in prison Friday after pleading guilty to multiple counts of sex crimes, burglary and robbery.

Daniel Allen Bueler was sentenced to 245 months, or more than 20 years, in prison for first-degree sexual abuse, first-degree sodomy, first-degree burglary and second-degree robbery.

According to the Multnomah County District Attorney's Office, the charges relate to several incidents that occurred between 2022 and 2023.

In June 2022, Bueler assaulted a person at gunpoint in Argay Park in northeast Portland. Two months later, he broke into a home and stole $1,000 worth of items.

In March 2023, he broke into a home again and woke a woman who saw him standing over her with a gun. He then stole belongings from the house. Several hours later, he sexually assaulted a woman and threatened her with a gun.
