Former New Jersey summer camp counselor allegedly kept records of child abuse

A 23-year-old Mount Laurel man who previously worked as a counselor at a summer camp has been charged with third-degree possession of child sexual abuse material.

Robert Nault was arrested on Thursday when police searched his home.

Electronic devices were seized for examination by investigators from the Burlington County High-Tech Crimes Unit.

The investigation began after county authorities received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children about Nault's online activity involving images and videos.

Nault previously worked as a summer counselor at Camp Ockanickon for boys and the School's Out Program, both run by the YMCA of the Pines.

According to police, Nault was not charged with any crimes related to inappropriate physical contact with minors.
